Date Night In: ‘Fancy’ Movie Night
With two little ones at home, going out is sometimes just not doable. It’s always nice when grandma and grandpa like to take them, but that’s not all the time! Our kiddos are pretty good at going to bed early, though (can I get an amen?!), and that makes it a bit easier to do! I thought I’d share one of our most recent date nights spent at home. Day Dates and Cubbies
Day dates are one of my favorite things to do in this stage of our lives. We have little ones, so it’s nice to be home to put them to bed. Plus it means that our old butts can be in bed at a decent hour to get up with our early risers the next day (the days of late nights are mostly past us!) 🙂 Last month we did a day date in town. It was a fun filled day of sharing hot fudge sundae shakes, couples massage, bookstore trip, and a movie with lots and lots of popcorn! We were able to get home right after the kiddos…

Take a Trip!
My husband and I have always loved to travel together. When we got married we planned an anniversary trip each year, and did a few random mini trips in between. My husband is not a big fan a flying, so we’ve stuck to just the USA. But y’all there is so much to see and experience in the wonderful U.S. Of A! Our bigger trips have been to Disney World, Orange Beach, Las Vegas (twice!), San Francisco, Yosemite, Houston / San Antonio, and most recently Gatlinburg.
